I am, once again, looking for wording in your Bylaws/Rules & Regs regarding completion of medical records.
~RE: Below is what is written in our bylaws. The section of the bylaws copied below, stipulates that the medical staff must adhere to all policies. This would cover documentation.
"Hospital policies, as signed by the Chief Medical Officer, shall be adhered to as rules and regulations, in accordance with the Hospital policy, Policy Development, Review, Revision, Distribution and Maintenance."
