NAMSS introduces the Medical Services Management (CPMSM) Certification Preparation Course, which covers all relevant information on the CPMSM exam and how it can be applied in any medical environment. Participants will learn by means of independent review, in-class discussion, case studies, and group collaboration. This comprehensive course explores topics such as accreditation and credentialing standards, privileging, medical services administration, risk management, and data management—all of the bases to help MSPs prepare for the CPMSM exam.

This two day workshop offers hands-on assistance with The Joint Commission compliance challenges. Faculty from Joint Commission Resources will provide education and training on 2010 TJC standards impacting the medical staff. In addition, they will address the requirements of the medical staff chapter and also medical staff challenges from other sections of the accreditation manuals, to include leadership, the National Patient Safety Goals, medication management, infection control, the provision of care, and the record of care.
