How do I gain access to the session, exhibit hall, and special events?
Each registered attendee will receive a conference badge that serves as admission to all conference events. Some events will require an advanced registration, tickets, and an additional fee.
What is acceptable to wear during the conference?
Attire during all sessions and events at the conference is business casual. It is usually best to dress in layers due to fluctuation in room temperatures. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Can I bring my child with me to the conference?
No children under the age of 18 are allowed in conference meetings or events, including the exhibit hall.
What networking opportunities are available?
NAMSS has schedule various networking opportunities throughout the week,including a ribbon-cutting ceremony and exhibit hall opening reception, business luncheon, keynote speaker sessions, and the optional round table networking breakfast and regional seated lunch. To attend, please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
What is the virtual conference?
The virtual conference is offering 8 live-streaming sessions in a WebcastTime Session format. The live-streaming sessions will run concurrently from the 2009 NAMSS Annual Conference in Reno, NV. Virtual attendees will be able to hear the speaker, see the presenter’s slides, and ask questions during the session. There will be no live-streaming video of the session.
What sessions are offered for the virtual conference?
Eight (8) sessions will be offered as part of the virtual conference, one in each breakout time slot. Three sessions are offered on Monday, October 5. Three sessions are offered on Tuesday, October 6. Two sessions are offered on Wednesday, October 7. Below is a complete list of the virtual sessions. Note-the keynote/general sessions will not be offered as part of this year virtual conference.

How can attendees participate in the virtual conference?
Attendees can register online through the conference registration site or they can download the virtual conference registration form online. Registration includes virtual access from one login site/computer and CE for one identified individual.
Attendees have the option to register for the full three-day virtual conference (all 8 sessions) or the one-day conference (2-3 sessions). Once registration is complete, NAMSS will send a confirmation e-mail.
Be advised, the start time for all virtual sessions is listed in Pacific Time.

If an attendee misses a virtual session, will the session be recorded for later viewing?
Attendees must be present during the live-streaming virtual session. Virtual sessions will not be recorded for immediate playback.
Will virtual attendees be able to ask questions to the speakers?
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions using the Question Box in the virtual tool. All attendees’ lines will be muted. Questions from virtual attendees will be typed into the Question Box and then sent to the speaker. Questions will be held until the last 10-15 minutes of the session.
