Registration Information

If you already have a NAMSS account and can't remember your login information, please contact the executive office at info@namss.org to request it. This will prevent a duplicate record from being created. Duplicate records will negatively affect your registration and rates.

NAMSS encourages you to register for the conference online. It's fast, easy, and secure! You will be given the option to pay by check on the payment page.

Please note that there are scams designed to solicit your payment information for meeting registration/hotel room reservations via phone. Under no circumstances will NAMSS initiate contact with you via phone to solicit your registration. All communication regarding registration will be sent via email or regular mail.

Important Registration Information

Three-day full conference registration includes all educational sessions and activities Monday, October 23 through Wednesday, October 25 including the Exhibit Hall Opening Reception, Wild West Reception, and Business Meeting and Keynote Presentation.

One-day conference registration includes all educational sessions and activities on Monday, October 23, Tuesday, October 24, or Wednesday, October 25. Anyone wishing to attend for more than one day must register at the three-day conference registration rate.

Pre-Conference Workshops will take place on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22, and do not include admission to general conference activities. Advance registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list. Additional Pre-Conference Workshop fees apply to each of the four courses being offered (SA01, SA02, SA03, SA04, and SN01). Attendees may register for these events during the online registration process.

The discounted early-bird registration rate will apply for all registrations completed online on or before September 7, 2017. Registrations received online after September 7, 2017 will be charged the regular registration fee.

Join NAMSS now to receive discounted NAMSS member registration rates. You can join online and save $150 on Conference Registration. In order to save, you must join before registering. Guest Registration

If you are bringing a guest to the Opening Welcome Reception, Wild West Reception, or Business Breakfast Meeting & Keynote, be sure to select the “guest” ticket on your online registration form. Guests must be age 21 or older.

Media Registration

Journalists who are employed by accredited news organizations and attend the NAMSS 41st Educational Conference & Exhibition for the purpose of editorial coverage can receive media credentials to attend the NAMSS conference.

To receive official approval, journalists must submit media credentials, including a photocopy of official press credentials from a specific publication/outlet (generic press credentials WILL NOT be accepted) or a letter verifying assignment to the conference on the letterhead of the media organization being represented.

Media credentials should be submitted along with a completed NAMSS 2017 Media Registration Form to Kate Purdy at kpurdy@namss.org.


Payment Information and Confirmations

Full payment must be submitted with your registration form.
For the easiest registration, visit our secure website to use our online registration process. Online registrants will receive confirmation shortly after registration. Confirmation letters will be emailed approximately 10 days after receipt of payment for registrants who mail their registration fees via check. Make all checks payable to NAMSS. NAMSS will not accept purchase orders.


Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing and e-mailed to registration@namss.org.

  • Cancellation deadline is October 6, 2017. Cancellations made in writing on or before October 6, 2017, will be eligible for a full refund, less a $50 processing fee.
  • No refunds will be made for cancellations received after October 6, 2017.
  • No refunds will be made for no-shows.
  • All refunds will be processed 6 to 8 weeks after the conference.
