Membership Recruitment

The NAMSS Member Get A Member Program is designed to encourage members to recruit fellow colleagues to help strengthen the growth of the association.

How the program works:
For every Member recruited you will earn 15 points. The NAMSS Executive Office will keep track of all points earned.

Prize Levels:
Level 1 = Ascot Collection or NAMSS Pedometer: 15 Points
Level 2 = Bristol Collection or NAMSS Member/Certification Pin: 30 Points
Level 3 = Chancellor Collection or NAMSS Polo Shirt/NAMSS Long Sleeve Button Up Shirt: 45 Points

Individual Rewards:
Members will receive 15 points for every individual you recruit for NAMSS membership. You may request a reward after your first recruit, or you may let your points accumulate throughout 2009 and redeem them at the end of the year (all points must be redeemed by January 31, 2010 or they will be forfeited). When you are ready to redeem your points please contact the NAMSS Executive Office.

State Rewards:
State Rewards will be granted based on the number of new national NAMSS members recruited by members of your state through July 31, 2009. Two state rewards will be given- one based on the percentage of increase in membership and the other on the increase in number of members. This gives both small and large states a chance to win. Both programs run January 1- July 31, 2009. Grand Prize Rewards:
One Free Conference Registration to the 2009 NAMSS 33nd Annual Conference and Exhibition. The individual who recruits the most new members, the state with the largest percent increase in membership, and the state with the most new members between January 1- July 31, 2009, will each receive a complimentary registration to the 2009 NAMSS conference in Reno, NV. State associations can choose how they want to use the prize.

Rules:

  • When recruiting new members, make sure they write your name in the "Recruited By" section of the membership application.
  • New members must include payment with application in order to be counted as a recruit.
  • New members are identified as those who have not been a member of NAMSS within the preceeding 12 months.
