NPDB Reporting requirements expand on march 1

Changes to Section 1921 of the National Practitioner Databank (NPDB) will become effective on March 1, 2010. The changes expand reporting requirements to include state and Federal licensure sanctions against all healthcare providers. Cynthia Grubbs, R.N., J.D., Deputy Program Manager and Senior Policy Analyst for SRA International, Inc. and Karen Reed, PhD, CPMSM, NAMSS President conducted a Webinar on the regulatory changes and discussed how medical services and human resources departments will be affected.
