FORDHAM UNIVERSITY

Fordham University , in conjunction with the New York Medical College , is offering an exciting E-learning education opportunity for health care professionals. The on-line program, titled “Introduction to Managed Healthcare,” provides an introduction to basic concepts of managed healthcare for multidisciplinary healthcare practitioners. Course topics include:

• Managed Healthcare Basics
• Medical Management
• Ethical Issues in Managed Healthcare
• The Future of Managed Healthcare

The course faculty includes several distinguished professions and medical officers who will be accessible via e-mail and will monitor each student's progress throughout the course offering period.

This program has been approved by the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) for twelve (12) continuing education units. The six (2 hour) modules can be completed at the student's convenience and those interested can participate in the course if they have access to the following equipment: PC or Mac with an Internet Browser and access to the World Wide Web; Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
