The American Medical Association Organized Medical Staff Section (AMA-OMSS) is inviting NAMSS members to attend its annual meeting June 21-24, 2007 at The Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, Illinois.

The AMA Organized Medical Staff Section (OMSS) represents medical staff, medical staffing professionals, and physician organizations. The AMA-OMSS advocates for self-governance, the patient-physician relationship, and physician autonomy in medical decision-making and other pressing issues facing medical staffs.

Topics to be covered at the meeting include Medicare reimbursement, medical staff leadership, physician-hospital relationships, and staff self-governance.
