If a packed education program isn’t enough to whet your whistle, wait until you see the city! Although outsiders may know Milwaukee as Cream City, people who visit Milwaukee know that it’s a place with small town appeal and big city amenities.

Milwaukee is now home to the Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin as well as countless art galleries and niche museums. From the symphony orchestra to specialty theatrical companies, Milwaukee is known for the quality and affordability of its fine arts productions.

Besides great art and inexpensive entertainment, Milwaukee is home to a wide range of architectural styles. The 1892 Pabst Mansion is a major Milwaukee destination built in the Flemish Renaissance Revival style. The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is an Italian Renaissance style villa that includes a hillside of gardens stretching down to Lake Michigan.

Of course, you can still sign up for a brewery tour at Miller Brewery and shop for your favorite old world sausage at Usinger’s Famous Sausage Factory. Speaking of sausage…if you love big hogs, be sure to check out the Harley-Davidson tour!
