Coordinates the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals' credentialing and re-credentialing function within the Medical Staff Service Department Ensures applications are processed in accordance with established policies, rules and regulations, bylaws and regulatory governmental standards thereby ensuring that only qualified practitioners provide care at Presence Health The Coordinator will participate in projects initiated to facilitate the credentialing and verification tasks; act as a valuable resource to the medical staff and its leadership; support activities of the medical staff, and the tasks associated with related committee functions.
Credentialing Assistant - Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center
This full time position encompasses the following: Provides administrative support to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Staff Office and its medical staff, oversight of physician and allied health professional orientation, oversight and administrative support to various monthly and quarterly meetings, maintain hospital and credentialing software systems, oversight of external credential verifications, and perform daily administrative duties as needed.
This position requires 3 years of experience in a Medical Staff or Physician Services office setting, strong administrative assistant skills, experience in meeting minutes, knowledge of practitioner credentials and privileging files, proficient in Microsoft Office, expert communication and organizational skills, and ability to work in an energetic environment. MSOW software knowledge preferred.

Credentialing Coordinator - OSF Saint Francis Medical Center

Coordinates the credentialing process of the Professional Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers to ensure that all individuals with clinical privileges are competent and maintain competency to provide patient care within the scope of their training, licensure and privileges.
