NAMSS is committed to enhancing the professional development of and recognition for all professionals in the medical staff and credentialing services field. In 2017, the NAMSS Board of Directors developed and adopted a Statement on Diversity and Inclusion, which reflects the association’s commitment to building an organization that appropriately reflects the diversity of the medical services profession.
NAMSS Statement on Diversity and Inclusion
NAMSS seeks and values diversity and inclusive practices within our membership, leadership and the areas of the medical services profession represented by the membership, and it strives to build committees and the board of directors in a manner that is reflective of the diversity of our profession.
NAMSS celebrates diversity and welcomes people of any age, appearance, disability, ethnicity, gender, geographic location, nationality, professional level, race, religion, and sexual orientation, and is committed to ensuring diversity and inclusion at all levels of the organization.
To this end, NAMSS promotes involvement, innovation, and access to opportunities that maximize engagement across the healthcare settings, professional roles, and professional levels represented by the membership.
NAMSS stands with, and for, our members of any age, appearance, disability, ethnicity, gender, geographic location, nationality, professional level, race, religion, and sexual orientation. We recognize that we can always do more to ensure that we are truly inclusive and building a strong, diverse organization for all Medical Services Professionals. To drive these efforts, NAMSS will be forming a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force, which will help us identify DEI education, resources, and action steps NAMSS can take to foster an inclusive community.
We welcome your thoughts and ideas on how to continue our work on diversity and inclusion in NAMSS, and encourage you to email us at email@example.com.
Thank you for the important work you do every day. NAMSS is proud to stand with each of you.
