Apply to Share Your Knowledge

As a knowledge and thought leader contributor, you can lend your expertise to a variety of NAMSS educational offerings and resources including webinars, courses, articles, podcasts, toolkits and other resources. If selected, you must adhere to the NAMSS Education Policies and Procedures as well as the NAMSS Conflict of Interest Policy. Please review the policies prior to submitting your form. 

Please note, individuals who have participated in Test Development or volunteered with the Certification Commission of NAMSS (CCN) within the last 24 months are not eligible to contribute toward certification preparation content such as courses and study guides. This includes, but is not limited to, being a member of CCN, participating in item writing, item review, standard setting, etc., from 2023 through 2025. You may still submit your interest for other opportunities such as mentorship or webinar presentations. 

Some of the available opportunities to share your knowledge include: 

  • Article Author*
    • One-time project, approximately 2 hours. Includes professional assistance from NAMSS Content Team.
  • Course Creator and Developer
    • One-time project, approximately 10 hours. Will work directly with NAMSS professional education staff and committee volunteers.
  • Course Instructor
    • Requires additional application steps and trainings provided by NAMSS. This is typically a multi-year commitment, requiring the teaching of at least one live course per year.
  • Member Mentor and Supporter
    • Time commitment varies, but on average an hour or two per month throughout the duration of the mentor relationship.
  • Podcast Presenter
    • One-time project, approximately 2 hours. Includes professional assistance from NAMSS Content Team.
  • Product/Resource Developer
    • One-time project, approximately 10 hours. Will work directly with NAMSS professional education staff and committee volunteers.
  • Toolkit Creator
    • One-time project, approximately 10 hours. Will work directly with NAMSS professional education staff and committee volunteers.
  • Webinar Presenter*
    • One-time project, approximately 3 hours including live 60 minute webinar presentation. Will work directly with NAMSS professional education staff and committee volunteers.

*These opportunities are eligible for NAMSS Continuing Education Credits
